Lincoln Bodybuilder targets Professional Ranks
Top Lincolnshire bodybuilder Laurie Carr, owner of the city’s foremost sports & training supplement shop Performance Foods on Lincoln’s High Street, has been working with the Lincoln Sports Injury Clinic (LSIC) in his bid to gain his Professional Licence allowing him to compete in prestigious events across the world.
Laurie, who won Mr Britain in 2006 and was runner up in 2008′s Mr
Universe competition has been focussing on winning next year’s UK BFF title which would enable him to turn pro, and has been having regular treatment allowing him to maintain an injury-free training program.
Performance Foods, near to Dixon Street, has built up an ever-increasing reputation as the city’s place to go, not only for body-building supplements, but where amateur and professional athletes from a wide range of sports choose to get their sports nutrition products and advice. LSIC’s Senior Therapist and a Personal Trainer in his own right works regularly with Laurie providing injury treatment and preventative advice. He said “Their wide range of products supported by the knowledge on hand at Performance Foods, makes it the ideal place for anyone looking to give their training and sports performance the edge”.
